TeleSkin is a high-tech venture making hardware and software for the early detection of skin cancer, melanoma, and other skin conditions. Using breakthrough imaging and services techniques, we offer a comprehensive end-to-end solution for the analysis of moles, lesions, and other skin conditions via a combination of dermascopy, spectroscopy, and other cutting edge techniques. Founded in late 2007, TeleSkin is establishing a cutting edge network by partnering with medical clinics and research centers across Serbia to improve patient outcomes and aid in the early detection of melanoma and skin cancer.
In 2014. TeleSkin has expanded its operations to Denmark via NSC and Accelerace and is set out to bring skinScan to market.

Founders
Jadran Bandic
Dr. Bandic is a Senior Plastic Surgeon and Head of ORS Plastic surgery clinic, Belgrade, Serbia. As Chief Medical Officer for TeleSkin® he brings over 30 years of clinical and surgical skin experience, and has developed unique algorithms and hardware to analyze skin. Over 6,000 patients have benefited from these innovations. Dr. Bandic holds a Masters degree in skin cancer diagnostics and serves as a Board member of Serbian Dermoscopy Association, Board member of Balkan Dermoscopy Association, Board member of the International Dermoscopy Society, Member of the Yugoslav Association of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, and Member of IPRAS (International Plastic Reconstructive Aesthetic Surgery).
Djuro Koruga
Dr. Koruga is the Chief Science Officer for TeleSkin®. He is a Professor of Biomedical Engineering and leads the Nanotechnology Biomedical Engineering Group at the University of Belgrade and Head of Department of Biomedical Engineering and Nanaomedicine at the European Center for Peace and Development, University of Peace, Establish by The United Nations. Dr. Koruga was a Fulbright and IDEX Fellow and serves as a visiting professor to various universities and institutions in the US, Japan, Greece, South Korea, and China as a globally renowned expert in opto-electronics and nanomedicine. He has served as a principle Investigator of over 12 Industry and Ministry of Technology financed projects. He is widely published in over 120 journal and conference papers and has authored over 12 books. He has three US patents and more than ten other inventions.
TeleSkin was one of 8 elected for the Next Step Challenge, first-of-its-kind entrepreneur competition in Esbjerg, Denmark, which was organized in part by Accelerace, SydEnergi, Region Syd Danmark, EEU and Next Step City. We were lucky enough to win the competition and secure the biggest prize in entrepreneurship, a sum of 250K€. After the award, TeleSkin ApS decided to take its skinScan mobile application to a new level of CE certified Medical Device. Now we have a team in Denmark working solely on this project and taking it to market by the end of this year.
